Hostrite offers free web hosting with no ads, intended for small businesses, charities and blogs. More information about our free hosting - including its limitations - can be found here: Free Hosting.
To set up free hosting, you'll need to:
1. Sign up to Hostrite
You can sign up to 20i from here: https://my.hostrite.in/register.php
2. You need a domain name
You can't set up our free hosting without a registered domain.
There are two ways to do this:
If you already have a domain registered:
You’ll need to transfer your domain to Hostrite. It’s free to transfer a domain that ends in .CO.UK, .ORG.UK or .ME.UK. For other top level domains we have to charge a fee. This fee is the same as the registration price and registers it to you for a year.
If you don’t have a domain registered:
You’ll have to register a domain.
3: Activate your free hosting on that domain name
Now you have your domain name, the last thing to do is to activate that hosting.
- Go to Hostrite, and choose Manage Domains.
- Select Manage next to its name
- Click the right-hand icon to Activate free hosting
